PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Syosset Fire District of the Town of Oyster Bay, County of Nassau, New York, will hold its regular meetings for the year 2019 on the Second and Fourth Monday of each month or as noted below, at 6 o’clock P.M., or as soon thereafter as a quorum of the Board has gathered to conduct business at the office of the Board located at 50 Cold Spring Road, Syosset, New York. All meetings of the Syosset Fire District are open to the public. The Dates for 2019 are as follows:

May 13, 28 (Tuesday)

July 15
August 14 (Wednesday)
September 9, 23
October 15 (Tuesday), 28
November 12 (Tuesday), 25

Budget Workshop meetings have been scheduled for Thursday, September 5, Monday, September 9 before the regular Board meeting, and Thursday, September 12, 2019 at 6 o’clock P.M. at 50 Cold Spring Road, Syosset, NY.
This notice is being posted in accordance with the provisions of Section 104 of the Public Officers Law of the State of New York.
PLEASE TAKE FURTHER NOTICE that a copy of this notice is posted at the Fire District Office.
PLEASE TAKE FURTHER NOTICE that the Board reserves the right under Section 104 of the Public Officers Law to schedule additional meetings during the calendar year as business needs develop and that it will notify the official district newspaper and post the notice of such meetings at the Fire District Office based upon the needs of the district, time constraints and applicable law.
PLEASE TAKE FURTHER NOTICE that the Board reserves the right to cancel any meeting when a quorum of officers is unavailable or pressing business of the fire district or fire department causes the need to cancel a meeting. When time permits, a cancellation notice will be posted at the Fire District Office.
