Spotswood Police Department~~~~~FLATTEN THE CURVE---------

The Spotswood Police Department wants to stay connected with the Community during this time. Members of the SPD are all healthy and adhering to social distancing in hopes we continue to remain healthy and safe, not only when out in public, but within our Headquarters. We can all agree that this has been a crazy, tough, interesting, confusing and testing time over the last couple months. However, everyone understands the best way to prevent illness (any illness like this) is to avoid being exposed to the virus.

Some adhere to social distancing (some measurements are a little off, we see a couple 4ft distances in there), some wear full hazmat suits and some just don’t leave the house. But, there are a few who disregard the rule altogether (we see you 👀). The Spotswood Police Department just wants everyone to remain healthy and safe throughout this time. Be mindful of others!

You may notice the police caution tape hanging on street sign poles throughout the main roads in town. This was done (and still continuing to be done) by our Officers to remind everyone to practice social distancing in an effort to flatten the curve. Because, according to the CDC the virus is thought to spread mainly from person-to-person who are in close contact with one another (within about 6 feet) and through respiratory droplets produced when an infected person coughs or sneezes.

Keep your distance, wash your hands, use a tissue to cover your mouth/nose when sneezing or coughing, avoid touching your face with unwashed hands, use hand sanitizer (if you can find some) and help flatten the curve! 📈📉
